January 12, 2011, Rutherford, N.J. –– Following the recent acquisition of U.S.-based Summit VetPharm in August, 2010, Ceva has consolidated both businesses into a single entity, Ceva Animal Health LLC.  As a result, Brad Butler is appointed to the position of Chief Operations Officer, and Julia Stephanus as Vice President, Global Marketing – Companion Animal Parasiticides, effective immediately.

For the past three years, Brad oversaw the operations of Ceva’s companion animal business in the United States.  Brad was instrumental in Ceva’s recent acquisition of Summit VetPharm, and is leading the team to integrate the Vectra product line and human resources into one Ceva in the U.S.  In his new role, Brad is responsible for companion animal operations in North America.

As the first employee and President and CEO of Summit VetPharm, Julia led the team that successfully developed and launched the Vectra range of ectoparasiticide products in the United States.  Julia now moves to a newly-created global position reporting directly to the company’s headquarters in Libourne, France.  She will lead Ceva’s expansion plans for the Vectra brand globally and drive the company’s innovation strategy in this category.
