During 2013, Ceva completed a $7 million expansion of its research and development (R&D) facility on the Lenexa, Kan. campus. Rapid growth in North America, and plans to expand into additional product categories, created the need for upgrade and expansion of existing facilities.
The R&D team now has 18,000 square feet of BSL-2 (biosafety level 2) laboratory space. The team conducts both pharmaceutical and biological research and employs many veterinarians and other PhDs on staff.
Ceva's decentralized structure allows each team great autonomy to develop their own ideas, but still fosters the sharing of ideas and innovation around the world. We also encourage networking with the many external institutes, universities and private research groups that contribute significantly to our R&D programs.
